DCC members joined forces with Ulverston Canal Regeneration Group to pick up rubbish that had accumulated on and around the canal.This was just one of many projects that are being held at the end of March and through out April all over Cumbria where groups make a difference to the environment A big Thank you to all who helped on the day.
DCC members spent the day from Rigmaden to Devils bridge learning new skills on the River Lune. Great pictures of the day by Sue Longstaff.
DCC members of all ages and some newish to moving water, practised their skills on the river at Brathey Pool. A great time was had by all who took part. A few members got wet but nothing that a hot drink couldn't sort. After a few hours practising all got chance to paddle down a section of wildwater and did themselves and their coaches proud.
