Community Groups

We run sessions at the docks for local Schools, college, youth clubs, Scouts and guides.

Regular 'Go Canoeing' sessions are run during school holidays in partnership with Barrow Sports Council.

Some local schools have their own coaches so once they have had a centre orientation session can use the base independently. 

Sandside Lodge special School are regular users of our Docks base. They have their own kayaks and canoes which we store for them. As well as various class sessions the school youth club - the green wasps- have also been down in the summer.
