Where are we?
Our club and boat stores are alongside the Cavendish Dock off Cavendish Dock Road, Barrow in Furness, Cumbria. If using GPS to find us, please use postcode LA14 2LA - this is actually the postcode for LL UK, Adeb Berth. You can find us by turning off The Strand by the car dealer "Auto Image" and following Cavendish Dock Road for about 600 metres where you will see a red sign for Dudon Canoe Club low down on your right next to a gate into the docks. Go through the gate, turn left and we are in the compound just past the where the corvettes were berthed. Hopefully the map below will help.
Our club sessions are held on Saturdays in the Winter and Friday evenings in the Summer. Check our calendar page on this site to see what's going on at the docks and elsewhere. There is a launch fee of £2 which covers everything you need to go paddling. Just bring a change of clothes, towel and shoes you can get wet. You are able to try paddling at the docks or at the pool up to three times to see of you like it before joining as a member when launch fees are £1.
Our pool sessions are held on Thursday evenings between 7:30 and 8:15 at pool in the Park Leisure Centre, Greengate St, Barrow in Furness, LA13 3DT. The session costs £.5.50 just bring what you would for swimming and a t-shirt.
